Choir Socials
Part of the reason the choir was formed in the first place was to encourage friendship and to end loneliness. Meeting new people and being friends is a huge part of what we are about. Every month, we have a choir social locally which is chosen by choir members. It could be a pub quiz, or a curry night, and we have even had a sheep stake where we all raced toy sheep!
Everyone is welcome and heartily encouraged to come along to the choir socials!
Let Them Eat Cake!
Every week Toni makes fresh, beautiful cakes and brings them into choir. The £2 donations that choir members give for a piece of cake goes towards the hire of the room each week. There isn’t usually much cake left at the end of the night!
Bring Your Own Drinks
Each week, bring yourself a drink – soft or alcoholic it’s your choice! Alternatively we have hot drink making facilities if you prefer a cuppa.
Gentlemen At Choir
We love our gents at choir! If you are a gentleman, and love a good sing song then come and give us a try. For some reason, choirs always attract lots of ladies and not so many men – but our men have a whale of a time every week. Come on gents don’t be shy we really need you singing in our choir.
